I have been streaming on xfninity on my computer all day. I left for a few hours and came back to watch a show and this error popped up tde.provision.accountMismatch. What does this mean and how can it be fixed? Thank you!

did you go to the gear (settings) and sign out and then back in?

Sorry, that did not work either.
CBS was the only channel I could not stream, until the game was over.
(.... very odd since this happens often with NFL games)

Thanks for replying.

I have tried with all my browser, Firefox, Chrome, Edge, IE and after I click the enable and allow flash to run, it's still doesn't work. Almost like Xfinity is preventing it. I can't use Xfinity Stream on my Computer anymore.

what error message do you see? while on the stream page did you right click on the url 'lock' icon and enable flash always for xfinity?

Is there any place where content provider agreement changes are announced?  Every month I am finding more and more channels, shows, and movies being restricted to only being viewed on my home wi-fi.  This month it is PBS not allowing me to view content while traveling.  Is there a place where these changes are announced so that I can find out about them ahead of time?

if you have X1 just use your TVgo channels or record what you wish to watch when away (completed recordings are available while away from home but still in USA).

Same problem here.  Unwatchable.

Hi, blair2! Thank you for posting in our community! The tde.provision.accountMismatch is usually caused by the back end issue with the username. I should be able to fix it without any issues. Replied to your private message, please check your inbox.

Both the X1 box and the Roku are set to 4k (2160p) 60hz, both HDMI ports support that, 2018 Samsung 8 series. I've even flip flopped hdmi ports, Roku recording always looks bad, x1 always looks fine.

No matter what, the recording on the Roku looks terrible, I have 2 sets with Roku ultras and a TCL 4k roku set. All are hard wired and all easily get 300Mbps speed tests.  This specific recording that I've been testing with  (NFL game on a local channel) looks highly pixelated on all Rokus, but looks fine on the X1 box.

I have no trouble at all getting perfect 4k content on youtube, netflix or amazon on any Roku.. Xfinity Stream app quality is just not good for some reason.

Wish I could figure out how to add a photo to this post

if you step back the roku to 1080p and set up the video on that port to get the best image (using for example the netflix 'test patterns' series) for brightness, contrast, gamma, sharpness) and turn off all preprocessing (like game/cinema, motion smoothing, etc).  You can change it back to 4k when using a 4k app like netflix). the TV probably has better upsampling circuitry for displaying the content on its own screen.

I have xfinity campus and have successfully streamed via roku streaming stick +. I recently upgraded my internet service and now I get errorDRM1 message.

Per the xfinity website, the use of xfinity on campus can be used outside of campus network.

"If you live in on-campus housing, but are not connected to your campus network, your content selection will be limited."

I tried updating my roku system, resetting the roku, and deleting and adding the xfinity app.

I keep getting the same error message

Then your setup is not like mine; it works with Chrome on my Win10 computer.

You might need to explore the Chrome Settings for an option to resolve this.

Various errors while watching streaming episodes?

It's not to say that these problems haven't happened sporadically but the last week I'm lucky if I can watch a single show without a problem. Last night after three or four tries I finally managed to get through the 4th episode of True Detective Season 3 Episode 4. But so far today I've had to start watching yesterdays episode of Manifest 3 times from the beginning, at first I was getting "This video cannot be played Error Player, vodStreamheartbeat.400"; I power cycled all my equipment and rebooted my computer and was able to get a little more than halfway through when I now get a message something like "This video may no longer be available".

Everytime something goes wrong I end up having to watch the show from the beginning; does anyone have an idea what's going on and how to fix it?

Also, now I'm trying to watch Manifest and every few minutes it keeps getting stuck for 30 seconds to a minute before starting again. Also otherwise internet appears to be working fine.

And now "Well that didn't go as planned..." and "We're having trouble playing this recording. We checked for this program On Demand but, unfortunately, it is not available. Please try watching another program."

I'm sure Comcast got a lot of pressure from NBC to use Flash for DRM, but that does not change the fact that they had a site that worked much better, without Flash, prior to rolling out the current app that is still in Beta over a year later.  Adobe plans to end Flash at the end of 2020, so I'm wondering already how many years Comcast will have no streaming service at all once Flash is gone.

Yes comcast has to fix it, but it is Google Chrome that is the one having the problem. I can run firefox, Yahoo, Edge and only to tell it once to run it. After that I can click on xfinity and watch without any problems. Plus it is almost two years before it ends. Google Chrome has kinda jump the gun you think. Like 2-1/2 years ahead of time.

'flash' is only being used to verify the HDCP security of the stream.
