Yes the modem got upgraded as well
use the xfinity my account app on an apple/android smart device. select the internet tab and then your data modem/gateway. match the 'serial number' shown with the gateway's HFC MAC address. exact match character by character?

player.vodstreamheartbeat.400 I have been getting this error code everytime I try to stream a video on the Xfinity website. I have call you guys and everytime you said you fixed it . It is not fixed and I pay good money to have this service. I am connected to my home network. Please fix this
when a stream is authorized (HDCP encryption verified), the heartbeat check is required to retest the connection again and again. if the heartbeat test finds the stream is no longer secure end to end (encryption) the stream is interupted with that message. move the device closer to the router, and be sure nothing interferes with that 'stream' moving the device to another wifi during the stream or losing the wifi moving to another access point even with same name will fail the heartbeat test. This would include changing from WIFI to cellular, etc.

I have been having this problem for about 4 days now. Nothing is going to work...It is a Comcast error that has to be fixed through their streaming site. I don't see how putting the device closer to router will help..I am hardlined in and I am still having this issue.

Hi, I currently have a tv/internet package that includes limited basic, a cable box, and no HD as far as I can tell. I have been using the Xfinity Stream app on my Roku TV, and would like to know if I can add an HD Technology fee and a DVR fee, to access these features on the app without needing to obtain additional equipment. I don't currently use the cable box I was originally provided. Thanks!

EG:
"
- You can download purchases using the Xfinity Stream app. Downloaded titles can even be viewed when you are not connected to the Internet. To download, select your title from your purchases list and then click Download. We recommend that you download purchased titles shortly after purchase."

I agree with everyone here to say that this Xfinity app is no good at all! Outrages prices for shady services :/

I've never had an issue with my app but I have the Orbi wifi system and it has been better than the Xfinity wifi. I only use the iPhone7 for the app, also.

Google Chrome. I have called and I cleared cache, cookies and browser. They said to reinstall flash player I did that. They reset the modem and refreshed the account.

So I've been with Xfinity for over a year now, coming from the DISH world, and there are a few features that I really miss that I hope will come to the Xfinity Stream apps:
- Get the full Live TV guide and streaming anywhere you can connect! Not just on your home network!
- OnDemand anywhere you can connect... not just on your home network!
- Being able to setup recording from anywhere using the stream app (needs #1 above).
If DISH can do it, I'm sure the Comcast / Xfinity engineers can figure this out.
Thanks

Why does Xfinity stream stop working and completely kick you out? Unplugged to restart and it doesn’t resolve. My son is trying to watch the latest Henry Danger that aired 2/2/19 and it won’t load. Previous episodes are working why not this one?

you can't install adobe flash with the chrome browser as it is built in and sandboxed. run the stream website and then rightclick on the lock icon in the URL area. what is flash setting?

me too first time Ive had this come up and get this we dont have wifi Im on a wired pc wired modem LOL. Same pc I always use windows pc (its a laptop but it never leaves the desk its wired to our monitor and speakers and never has wifi on becauuse we dont use wifi we use our own modem and own router. I very ocas use wifi on router for a tablet but that is not giving us any issue its this desktop set up thats all wired and wifi is off on my router (dont even have it on my self owned modem, its off on laptop never use it). What a pia! (when we are not using the tablet we press the router button to turn wifi off which is where it is most of the time). To reiterate this is happeing on my wired desktop pc no wireless on on my owned router and modem no wireless on same system ive used for a very long time. I read somewhere the big cable / net companies are going to begin selling internet packages and device packages to use the i net per what sites we want to use pay as you go sort of...since net neutrality died...I cant help but wonder if this is the start of those programs being set up.

Is there a chance your wifi was turned on and connected without you knowing? I had that happen to me once.

Is this with the Stream website or with the Stream App?
