COZI TV not on Xfinity Stream

COZI TV (Channel 311/Kube 4) no longer plays on Xfinity Stream.  The Guide shows the program that is supposed to be playing on Cozi Channel 311 BUT instead you see the program that is playing on Channel 53 (Kube 57).  This has only been an issue for a few months.  We are currently in Houston, TX and when we stopped in at the local Xfinity store they had no idea as to why this is happening. Is anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it? Thank you.

Actually I found a solution!  I bought/connected a Chromecast device to our lakehouse TV and use my Windows based laptop (connected to our lakehome's wifi) to log into our Xfinity account to watch our DVR programs and many live programs (but not broadcast networks which are not availble for streaming).  NOTE:  You must use a Windows PC that has Flash and you must use the Chrome browser to access your Xfinity account and "Cast" it to the TV's Chromecast device.  Mobile devices will NOT work because Xfinity requires Flash to stream and most mobile devices no longer support Flash.  Give it a try - I think you will like it!

does the correct 'channel' play on that channel 311 on your X1 set top box(es)? does another smart device playing same channel have the same problem (phone/tablet)?

glad you have it working. it is using the TV as a second monitor and that is allowed since the use existed before restrictions were put into place. the Chromebook will also work but only when using the built in Chrome browser. there are many 3rd party sites that may also work for you while away on your PC after going through a verification process. some of the 3rd party sites even allow connection via an inexpensive Roku 'stick' so the PC would not be needed.

Any update to this topic? I have been reading in the forums that this should be rolled out by now. I picked up a nice LG and want to stream the big game!

Had these same issues! Then I got the idea to remedy this since xfinity works great on ny android devices but not so good on my desktop.

I installed Bluestacks from here: https://www.bluestacks.com/download.html

It is an android emulator for windows that works great and has an excellent reputation.  it also has the google play store built in and I just downloaded the Xfinity Stream App, logged in as I do on my android devices and it works great!

Works with other android apps as well so you can run those apps on your desktop as well!

Good luck and happy streaming!

I have the same problem when using my computer.  It seems that xfinity requires streaming to run Flash.  No other service (netflix  Hulu and HBO) require me load flash.  Think that Xfinity is just well behind the times. They should be all over this problem to get it resolved. God Knows we are all paying them a fortune each month to provide a service available elsewhere for far less.

flash is used to authenticate HDCP and to check during the video that all is still encrypted (path).

you may need to reboot the PC and not run other programs. are you using the chrome browser? do other devices play normally? if you move the device closer to the modem does the issue improve?

Cannot watch TNT

Apparently, lots of customers are having the same problem with the stream app. .  I am watching TNT regular channel, in-home and I got kicked out with a message from xfinity.  Told me I needed to log out and the problem would be fixed when I logged back in.  NOT........I am being logged in to TV ToGO channels instead of the  regular in-home channels and the programmng does not match. What gives??

I read someone else's complaint about the same problem so I decided to check my Wi-fi connection. I was connected to a public network which is incorrect.  So I changed it to what it is suppossed to be and I still cannot access TNT channel.

Similarly I cannot connect to Netflix.  Mesage says I must be connected to broadband; which I am.  ??
