The xbox playstation or nintendo switch platform systems are ideal for an app. Or is there a way that because the tvs in the home would be also linking to xfinity gateways that the service can be opened up to stream within home via casting to only those xfinity internet connected devices, if all devices are found to be operating from that network. IE: If i can stream on the computer and i can hook the computer to the tv via hdmi i should also be able to cast to the tv or xbox device via communication with the router.
PLEASE DESIGN THIS! if i cant use both devices this will impact my decision to keep this service. Since the pathways between the set top boxes are encrypted for tv this would work the same
connecting a smart device to a TV is not allowed. Connecting a personal computer to a TV to use as a second monitor is 'grandfathered in' and allowed. if you mean other devices that would use the stream app, ask in the stream app (mobile) area of the forum.

while not watching full screen, press the box in a box (converts to mini-player or press the X in the upper right corner of the viewing window (NOT the X to close the browser window). Both will return you to the menu system to select other channels.

How to get away with murder is missing yesterday’s episode six on demand
just looked using the streaming website and season 5 ep 6 "we can find him" is available.
I just reported the issue thru chat and I now have a ticket. I have found something interesting: All the "TV GO" channels work for me. For example, my ESPN2HD channel 1206 has the error, but ESPN2 TVGO works. Same for FOXHD and FOX TVGO.

what's up with this error? I've tried 3 different browsers, 3 different computers; the problem is NOT ME -- so what the heck? You don't mind taking my money, how about providing the service that is paid for?

After reading the above redit page I found that the below steps worked for me.
Go to Settings > Playback Preferences and turn OFF Play Best Available. This apparently will auto-play broken content.
Go to your episode and see if there is more than one option now. For me the TV Go option worked but not the On Demand option.
White.
I'm having the same issue, and it started around the same time. Anything I play is slow to load and choppy.
Comcast changed something, and they just won't own up to it. I mean are customers supposed to buy all new devices because XfinityStream all of a sudden stopped working on their current devices? Is that the solution they're pushing? Really?
And to pretend it's user error is horrendously bad customer service. I'm starting to understand why people pirate TV shows and movies.
I have a Dell laptop running Windows 8. Amazon Prime, Hulu, Netflix, HBO Go all work fine. XfinityStream worked fine until one day it didn't. I had changed nothing. It just started loading slowly and playing choppy.
I wonder how long Comcast is going to pretend this is a user issue? All these differnet devices/settings/setups, but the same problem. Smh ridiculous!
i have noticed the same issue (including then fact the commercials work fine). i have tried stopping internet explorer and switching to firefox this worked for me. all smooth playback.
Hello,
I have been trying to login to your online streaming website and when I login in it gives me an error about a mismatch account. I have searched for some solutions on your community forum, and have tried to clear my cookies and browser history and nothing seems to be working. I read that our account may have to be reset, is there anyway you could assist me with this matter.
Thank you

Same issue here.
5 year old 17" Dell Inspiron Laptop
I3 CPU (dual core + hyper-threading)
AMD 4300 series discrete graphics
6GB RAM
Qualcomm Atheros AR3012 bluetooth 4.0
Windows 10 (fully updated)
Latest update of IE11, Chrome, Firefox browsers
Latest available updates of all drivers
Latest updates of Flash and Java
Don't recall when issue started, but two to three months ago seems about right.
I prefer IE11 over other browsers but loaded Chrome and Firefox to troubleshoot the issue.
Problem is most noticeable in IE11 and least noticeable in Firefox, but still noticeable enough to be an unpleasant viewing experience.
The issue presents itself as a halt or freeze of just the video (not the audio) at a one second interval then the video will skip frames to catch up with audio. In IE11 the video freeze will last almost a full second, whereas in Firefox the freeze is only around 2/10ths of a second (but still very noticeable). As noted in some of the above posts, this issue only happens with Xfinity Stream Website. It is not an issue with other streaming sources such as Netflix, Hulu, Broadcast Network sites, Youtube, etc.
Through trial and error, I think I have narrowed my problem down to an issue between Comcast's iteration of Flash Player used on the streaming site and my Bluetooth, which I use to broadcast my laptop audio to my external speakers.
Sometimes I can get a smooth video by going to the Flash Player Manager in the Windows Control Panel and choosing "delete all site data and settings", "delete all audio and video license files" and "deauthorize this computer" and then restart the computer but that does not always work and will usually only work for the first video played. Next video, the problem is back.
If I turn off my Bluetooth radio during playback (using the Bluetooth button on the notification panel) the video and audio will lock up (permanant pause). I can use the jump forward/back buttons but it will not play again without restarting the browser. If I disable my Blutooth adapter through the Windows Device Manager and then try to play a video it plays normally, but I'm stuck with cr*ppy laptop speakers and if I try to re-enable the Bluetooth Adapter after I've started the video, I get a BSOD with KERNAL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE.
I'm thinking maybe that the issue might be associated with the DRM in the Xfinity version of Flash Player.
I can stream live tv for most networks but not the major networks. THis has been a problem since Wednesday. This is a problem only for the major network channels. It is also only a problem at my home. I logged in from Albuquerque on Thrusday and could reach all channels. My wife was home in Georgia and could not reach CBS, NBC, Fox, CW and several other networks. ABC worked fine for her.
You might get fooled into thinking you have resolved the problem if you change something (like ie to firefox, or drivers) and then restart video from 'for you' , 'resume watching' . Check fix by going from 'episodes' page and restarting. I've tried all. Nothing has worked except the half fix "resume watching".
Hello, Harris2018. I have not heard back from you. If you still need assistance, please feel free to start a new thread.
Hi there, sayer430. Do you have a splitter by chance? Or does the coax cable go straight to the wall outlet?
You're asking for an X1 tier option. You cannot pay for "business internet" and get the benefits of a home user. My business internet is paid for with either a check from my business or my businesses' American Express. Again this is for triple play "home" tier customers. You're lucky you were able to use it that long.
Same problem for myself. CNN, MTV streaming works fine; but major networks like CBS, FOX, and ESPN give me that error message. I've cleared cookies and cache, as well as logged out and back in. No resolution. I do not have a splitter, and this is a new issue for me.
