Im having same issues all week. SOme channels work (TNT, ABC), but almost all other will not work. Ive cleared cache, cookies, history, restarted chrome (and firefox), restarted computer, logged out of account, logged back in - STILL NO CHANNELS! This is SUPER frustrating. All worked fine last week, now nothing. Tried on multiple browsers on desktop runnig Windows 7 (all up to date).

Yes, this issue has clearly not been resolved.
Also, since I'm here and complaining, anyway, lol........why did they ever change the computer streaming interface to start with?? I used to be able to watch my show on full screen while browsing for my next show along the right side of the screen. Now we have to minimize, look, pop back up, etc just "channel surf"....total pain the rear.

As for using a different device...I only own one computer. Don't have the luxuary of owning more computers. Asking if I have another device doesn't resolve my problem, especially when so many other Mac/Chrome users are indicating here that they are having the exact same problem.

Yeah, I have just tried using IE, Edge and Chrome. Cleared the cache and cookies on all of them. No luck. It was working fine over the last weekend. Currently it works on my android phone, but not on my home PC. WHY???!!!!

Hey, I found a fix to that for me. I have a Laptop That I put an SSD in. The Xfinity Streaming service seems to work better with an SSD for me.

Are you getting a wifi signal? Is you iPad connected to your network SSID?
I'm attempting to play them on a desktop computer at our house. The computer runs Windows 8.1 and I'm using Google Chrome as my web browser. I don't have or use a Chromecast.
Before I did the test I noticed that there was a firmware upgrade for the 3800, I ran it, which upgraded the Roku to 9.0. After reinstalling the Xfinity app it quit back to the homescreen the first time I tried to watch something but worked the second time and now seems to be fine.
I then checked for a firmware update for the Roku TV, there was but it was just another build of 8.1 and not the upgrade to 9. I applied it and the same thing happened. The first time I tried to watch something it didn't work, it quit back to the homescreen and then it worked after that.
I did notice that when it wasn't working it would show a gray screen before quitting back to the home screen but now that it's working when it quits you don't see the gray screen.
I've been one of the first adopters of Xfinity Stream app, never had an issue with it, a few weeks ago I'am unable to watch certain shows for example 60 Minutes, it let me choose the show, then see the list of available episodes but when I select one of them the app crash and send me to the Roku home, it doesn't even gets to the episode description screen.
I have two Roku Ultra (one connected via ethernet, one via wifi) and one roku stick and the same thing happens in all of them.
Things I tried with no luck.
1- Updating devices softwares
2- Rebooting devices and network
3- Remove the app and reinstall the app
4- Switching HDMI inputs
5- Contacted Xfinity via chat, they did a few things and none fix the issue
Nothing fixed it.
The live tv works fine and other shows plays fine.
I tried the 60 Minutes show on my cellphone and it plays fine but it does not allow to cast the screen to my TV.
Please Help!

for example will the app in the future be avail on apple tv tvs other than roku or samsung or were exclusive rights sold to for a time and for how long. The xbox playstation or nintendo switch platform systems are ideal for an app. Or is there a way that because the tvs in the home would be also linking to xfinity gateways that the service can be opened up to stream within home via casting to only those xfinity internet connected devices, if all devices are found to be operating from that network. IE: If i can stream on the computer and i can hook the computer to the tv via hdmi i should also be able to cast to the tv or xbox device via communication with the router.
PLEASE DESIGN THIS! if i cant use both devices this will impact my decision to keep this service. Since the pathways between the set top boxes are encrypted for tv this would work the same

I wanted to revisit this post to correct information I provided above. I would first like to apologize for the confusion. It was brought to my attention that we do in fact Support Samsung Smart TV's.
Here is a link that will provide you with all of the compatible Samsung Devices. At the bottom of this page, it will also walk you through the steps of activating the Stream App on your Samsung device.
We do have an official forums post regarding the Xfinity Stream TV app on Samsung Smart TVs.

are you speaking of the Xfinity Stream site or a 3rd party site for history channel? is this a numbered channel for in-home viewing (xfinity streaming web site) or a TVgo channel on the streaming website?
