using a smart device and the Xfinity My Account app, select the internet tab then the modem. Comcare the modem serial number shown to the HFC MAC address. do they match?

This means your PC is connected to your wifi router, but you are not getting connected to the Internet. I would unplug the router to allow it to reset.

I don't own a Roku device and it shouldn't matter because it's not in the app OR the web version, which makes me think that even if I bought a Roku it wouldn't have the record option, because I should be able to record in both those other places too

Is there a way to delete future recordings from my computer...I can't find a way to do it.

You can delete upcoming recording for individual recordings or individual recordings of a series recording. I can't find a way to delete a series recording.

 

You can go to your saved recordings and click on the one you want to delete a recording and click on "Recording Options"

Or you can go to the series or show info and click on the 3 dots to the right of the show info

Im having the same problem as well. HD worked fine until recently. I called Xfinity support, only to come to the conclusion that whoever I spoke to was clueless and has no business being in tech support. In addition to answering questions I didn't ask, he proceeded to reset the modem about 5 times,  each time taking aprox 15 minutes for the internet to kick back in for further testing.  After about an hour of troubleshooting he opened a ticket for me to have it escallated. I was supposed to receive a call back within 24-48 hours. That was Last Week. When I call back to check status, I get the usual scripted outsourced helpdesk who assures me they will get me "all fixed up".  then proceeds to put me on hold for 5 minutes until the call eventually get's dropped.  That happened twice.  

I've come to the conclusion that they have absolutely no clue as to why it stopped working.

did you start a new plan? look at your most recent bill and see if you have an HD Technology charge for $9.95 the HD on Roku should work fine. if the HD is included in a package with no separate charge then only your local HD channels may show in HD. It is the way the beta is currently set up.

more people needs to report this issue, and tell them to open a ticket


the cloud DVR only has the last 60 hours recroded. The home DVR is limited to space on the hard drive.

Folks:  I am subscribed to TV with Premium channels and Internet with Xfinity. 

 

I have Xfinity stream on my mobile device.  I click on filter for Live TV, it asks me to be in "HOME" network - this is bull s&*t, why limit me to remain within my house.  There are programs that it is says available to view but when I click on it, especially sports it does not allow me to watch. 

 

I saw a similar post by  iand the answer given to him was he was in Canada that is why.  Well that is the same issue even if you are within the USA.  It s*cks big time. 

 

I recently subscribed to Sling TV and had no problems watching live sports stream.  If Xfinity does not fix this issue or if I start getting comfortable with Sling TV for a much chepaer price than XFinity it would be time to cut off Cable TV subscription with Xfinity.

  • I’m seeing lots of folks with the same problem but no solutions. My Mac laptop pro can’t stream for very long before it quits and I get various “attempting to resume” or “heartbeat error” messages. 
  • So what’s the problem/solution?  ATT Direct?

Sorry for the experience you're having. The information provided by is correct. If this was working for you before and recently stopped, I'd like to check your account to ensure you still have the HD Tech Fee charge.

Hey Comcast Product Management,

Do your job. Windows 10 is now on 800 Million devices and many users still stream xFinity.  Comcast knows very well that Adobe Flash is UNSAFE and it is now limited to "Allow Once" enablement in the Edge browser.  This is now in the daily annoyance mode.  I use xFinity streaming every day. FLASH is almost dead and we still want a Streaming app for Windows that will run on PC's, Laptops and Tablets.

 

If I lose streaming from my Windows 10 devices I'm gone.

What Edge settings cause this?  I just used Edge on Stream and all I got was a message to enable Flash.

If your laptop is using a wifi connection, you might need to find a way to improve it; I purchased the Orbi to resolve my wifi connection issues.
