wrote: Why is Xfinity not on the mobile app? This is Houston. We should be able to access our Astros on the go. Especially at work. Why do I pay for the service but when I loaded down the app on my phone, Xfinity was not a choice. If I go on the Xfinity to Go app, it says I have to watch at home. This really is bad business and its going viral in Houston area. Especially on FB Blessed to Be an Astros group which has 18,000 members and growing. Please fix this. We need to see our team at work not just at home. Thanks
this same thing is happening in Utah to jazz fans! ish has to stop.
I love to Bake and my fav show "Baked in Vermont" suddenly went missing from Xfinity Stream. My recordings were deleted and I could no longer "search" for the title. Where'd you go Baked in Vermont?
I'm watching my home xfinity on my laptop. How do I set up a program to record remotely?
I just tried to set up a recording on Xfinity Instant TV and there is no recording option available to me on either my phone (1st-gen Pixel, latest Android) or on my computer (mac, chrome, latest version of OSX and chrome). I had a support person walking me through trying to record only for him to say that there's no reason I shouldn't be able to and he can't figure out why there's no option.
So I'm coming here. I've attached a screenshot of what it looks like when I bring up a future item on live TV as well as one of watching a current live item. There are no record buttons ANYWHERE.
Because this is Comcast, I wanted to make sure you didn't have to pay extra for it, but it says that cloud DVR lite comes with the Instant TV service. So I don't even know what to do anymore.

there is no 'set a recording remotely' option at this time other than the possibility of calling home and having someone there set the recording.

Instant tv customers don't have cable boxes at home. Xfi should stop advertising dvr functionality for the instant tv package until they resolve this
Hello, melondude! Welcome to the Xfinity Forums. Thanks for reaching out to us with this question.
Do you remember when you noticed these changes? We have recently been realigning the channel lineup in a few areas. Customers are notified about these kinds of changes on their bills prior to them going into effect.

Instant TV (no physical equipment) is not affected by the lawsuit/patent as the patent (procedure) claim is that TiVo owns the 'idea' that a remove device changes the channel on a home DVR and then records programming'.

I would ask you to read my original post, because clearly something is going on with Instant TV and recording: I can't record. mvenanzi was correct in their response: I'm not asking to record remotely, I have no DVR, only Instant TV, and Instant TV is not allowing me to record despite its advertisements saying it can.

when you are connected to your own home internet (typically wifi) does the record button show up?
I am unable to play dvrd shows online. I keep receiving this message:
Well that didn’t go as planned...
We’re having trouble playing this recording. We checked for this program On Demand but, unfortunately, it is not available. Please try watching another program.

recordings on the free cloud DVR are sometimes interrupted or have playback issues. the home DVR should be able to play the recording normally.
I have never seen the record button and have only ever tried to do this through my home wi-fi
I have a Digital starter TV which should include 140+ channels. But Now I just try to use the Xfinity Stream to watch ABC or NBC and other channels on my computer. And then it says that I need to subscribe first and doesn't really stream. The error message is shown below.
In addition, I was also trying to set up the Xfinity stream app on my Roku TV. After the authorization, it told me that it will leave some credit on my account to work. And now, I really don't know how to get it to work.
Hi ya'll, so today I am having issues playing on Opera. I do get an error message, as follows....
ftde.xact.3365.0
Any thoughts?
Figured it out... I am in private window and that does not allow Xfinity to play. If I open a regular Opera page, it works fine...
Thanks

have you used a smart device (iOS or Android)? Roku does have record function.

hi, since not working the most likely issue is that your account has the wrong modem information so to both devices you appear to be out of your own home. Use the my Account app on a smart device and select internet. select the modem. compare the shown serial number to the information tag on your actual home modem/gateway. matching?
There is a 4 second delay between the video and audio on the Comcast networks. This starts with an additional network identification chime (GEC for NBC) after the video for the program already has started.
The commercials on these networks are synced properly.
