Re: NBC Sports SN - cannot log in with safari (not recognized)

Same problem. It seems related to NBC using Flash; authentication with Xfinity works, but when it tries to load the page (including the Flash video window) there's a redirect back to the welcome page. I got it to work with Chromium; no luck with Firefox, either.

Maybe one day Comcast will dump Flash and switch to native HtML5 streaming and life will get better for everyone.

Thanks. They cannot hope to get millenials or later into their products if they don't get current on tech! Just sayin'

Clear cache. Use Firefox as your web browser. Download the latest version of Firefox for your computer’s operating system. (Like windows 8)
Next Download latest version of flash for your pc. Restart your computer.
Log in to comcast using email that is on your bill., or try the other email.

, WHAT is your problem?????

I am not running Linux, I have no jailbroken devices. You are such a little *****!!!!!!!!

Your excuses for why I am having this problem are running extremely thin!!!!!!

Why dont you just admit that comcast/xfinity are having problems with their stream website and they dont want to fix it. Instead they just want to bury it and you are helping them

I've been having the same problem as "khancock".  The shows I put in my "favorites" to watch later, it a hit or miss! Some I can watch on tiny phone screen INSTEAD of my laptop but if I'm paying for this On Demand I'd like to be able to use it. What is going on? Can you offer any assistance?

have you subscribed to the Xfinity Instant TV to enable the streaming app without having set top equipment at home?

the providers (usually Networks) decide which programs can be viewed out of the home. They set the restrictions before providing the on-demand programs to Comcast.

Try the same way you posted as well as hitting the share button on the right.  I have had this problems for three weeks.  Same dumpness on Comcast reps.  Please share.  I think they know, but cannot say anything because we may all cancell

Why can't I watch ABC? Is anyone else having this problem?

When trying to livestream any show on ABC, the player can't load the show and spits out error 1001.  I can watch all other channels without an issue--ABC is the only channel for which I've discovered this problem.  Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?

That is not an answer. Answers are solutions to problems. This problem could be simply fixed without much work at all. What you wrote was more of a middle finger and terrible customer service.

HD vs SD. did you try the other one when you got that error?

apparently the Chrome browser and adobe DRM manager (flash) can't prove trust and 'control'. You might want to ask on a public Chrome forum to see if the coders can research why DRM fails on *nix and not the Chromebook. Comcast has never stated that they were trusting *nix flavors.

Are you sure you aren't a Comcast Employee? You certainly sound like one.  Must be the Customer's Equipment or his own Error that is the issue here, right?  Wrong. Been through this with many actual Comcast Personnel. it isn't that I can try to watch a show and am suddenly dropped. teh Issue is that I type; https://www.xfinity.com/stream/ into the address line, and as soon as Enter is hit, I get the refusal screen, Can't even get to the site. It is an intentional refusal of service by Comacast/Xfinity.

what are the DNS servers currently in use on the device?

The customer HAS left TWO, 2, Screenshots and there both together side by side at the top of this thread. I can totally understand their frustration, just as I realize that you are not employed with Comcast & are just trying to give some support & help. Hopefully this  has gotten tech support from customer service with sending them out to the home. But as I wrote above, this +jw1111 did leave those screenshots there and it's at the top of this thread. Please take a second to look again, as I am sure they'll be very appreciative, especially if the problem is still occuring. THANKS for taking the time to read and for all your help. NIGHT~

use the My Account app and touch the internet tab. touch the modem. compare the modem 'serial number' to your own modem's HFC MAC address. same?
