Same thing happening to me. Useless to me.

Xfinity Stream Beta on Samsung showing weird video artifact and stuttering
I've been loving using the Xfinity Stream app on my Roku and Samsung connected devices, in addition to my X1 Box. I'm having an odd issue with my the app on my Samsung TV, and was wondering if anyone else has come across this or can shed some light.
In some occasions, I cannot 'tune' to an HD channel on the Stream Beta on my Samsung TV successfully -- when I try to, the audio stream of the channel is fine, but the video stream gets all choppy and artifact-filled. It almost looks like the stream is stuttering back and forth across the buffer, and most interestingly, I can see frames from the previous app I was using (usually YouTube) interlaced with the channel I am looking at. If I switch to the non-HD version of the same channel, it renders properly and I am able to view the channel in SD.
Here's a specific example:
- Open Stream Beta app on Samsung Smart TV
- Tune to channel 105 (KINGD), observe video artifacting and stuttering
- Tune to channel 5 (KING, SD), and stream plays fine as expected
- Tune to channel 104 (KOMOD, different HD channel), and stream plays fine as expected
Any insights? If it is at all useful, this seems to happen most repeatedly during Premier League games broadcast on NBC/NBCSN/CNBC on the weekends. (at least that is when I most notice it)
Thanks!

Re: Literally no option to record
I am having the same exact problem. I was initially able to set up recordings, but now I can't find any button or menu option to do so. Comcast support was no help at all!
Online streaming site has a bug I reported over a year ago and Comcast refuses to fix
Live streaming is forcing the dedicated GPU for a analog 360 resolution video. The integrated one works perfectly fine when when watching 4K videos on Youtube or running 3 VMs at one time. It is not a hardware issue (I can run the host, and guest VMs of Win 10, Win 7, Ubuntu all at the same time on the integraged GPU just fine).
This is a 110% defect in some code Comcast has on the site (I have already reported this multipule times (ticket is clsoed with nothing fixed 5+ times). Have tested in 5 different browsers (reprodiced the defect over 250 times and have even shown Comcast support with a screenshare).

The Stream website no longer permits setting recordings. A class action by Tivo ended it.

Hearing announcers on NBC Sunday night football
Can't hear the announcers from my DVR recording of Sunday Night Football. Have already tried (and re-tried) the language settings with no luck. Any suggestions?

Hi, I'm getting audio just fine, but the video seems to be scrambled. Hoping this clears up by the time the game starts. Any ideas?
A little late; did it clear up?

I think you probably need to poxt this in the X1 forum.
Re: Amazon Fire tv for xfinity stream
Re: Can't access FOX News video streaming
This problem has returned for the past two days. I have a Roku and I’m getting the activation screen on my tv, but just cycle thru the device and provider screens on my computer/tablet/phone. I was having problems using tablet a few days ago but could access via phone. Called Roku and told problem with Fox. No number to call for support so sent email but they never get back to you. Totally blocked out now for two days, saw Kavanaugh’s confirmation and that was it. Why won’t xfinity work with Fox to fix.
Re: Cannot activate my Fox News Activation
I just got roku a week ago. I have been able to watch fox all week and beginning yesterday there is no place to enter the activation code. I uninstalled and installed.
DVR Programming
Any way to add programs to be recorded by DVR while on the road?
Re: stream tv
Hi
Thanks for your feedback. We will provide this information to the app team.
When streaming, I keep getting kicked back to the on screen guide.
I am streaming the app through my Roku. When I am streaming a show (and right now I am trying to watch the NL playoffs!!) I select the show, it plays anywhere from a few minutes to a few seconds, then goes back to the onscreen guide. I am not touching the remote, not doing anything, it just does it on its own. I select the show, it plays briefly, then goes back to the guide, over and over. This just started recently; we've been using the service for four or five months and it's been okay. This is a deal breaker though, as it is unwatchable. Any suggestions as to what it might be? Thanks.

wrote: is comcast or xfinity or comfinity going to fix the fact on the stream tv app on the tv you can not create a favorites menu and to get to hd channels you have to click 40 times to get to the 600's. This should be such a basic feature it is like they really don't care about this app and are only putting it out there because the FCC told them to or something. Spend some money and hire a few Hulu engineers. Still waiting.... Still hoping.... Better get this done before 5g arrives
adding.... you posted in the stream web site area, but speak of the stream TV app. the web page allows you to click/hold the scroll bar and move the guide near instantly to any area of your programs, you can also touch the find button and put a particular channel to scroll directly to that channel.
Re: X1 DVR recordings often cut short in stream app.
is autopad on? did you change the series recording to add minutes at end? are all your recording tuners in use? what is your inventory of set top boxes and models?
