We were actually told the same thing last week! We then went and purchased a 4th generation Apple TV, we were told our 2nd generation we own did not support the app but the 4th gen would. Low and behold, Xfinity does not have an app for that! Very disappointing since the cost of an Apple TV is not cheap and we had no need to purchase a new one.

Currently there are very few offered in 60fps.
Other than ESPN News and Tennis TV, I don't know of any other channels that broadcast sports and deliver 60fps through tv.xfinity.com
IMO, this is a must for sports. I know it's not an ESPN issue, because I can stream ESPN at 60 fps through my apple TV espn app.
The only problem is that counts against my data cap. Which is why I'd like to be able to stream 60fps through tv.xfinity.com
Thanks
How can I find where it says 60fps?
To watch you'll need to connect to your home WiFi
For weeks I have been having this same problem, and frustration, posted by Guidar, see link, below; I have been in contact with customer support and their Advance Team many times with no success. The conditions are the same: I am in my home network, I own the modem the, HFC MAC address is listed correctly and I cannot watch certain channels because according to xfinity system I am not in my home network.
In two opportunities in the past the same problem was fixed by the Internet support group by doing something, unfortunately they did not share with me what they did to fix it, neither ComcastKenF mentioned in the post how he resolved it, should they share the solution we may know what to tell the support team to look up and fix it.
Could someone please help? I know there is a solution, it has worked couple of times for me. I am tired of spending time on the chat and phone with representatives that have no clue how to fix this problem and that just send canned responses like reboot my computer, reset my modem, re-install the app clear the browser cache, refresh the UDB data.
Thanks
Re: tv.xfinity.com 60fps lineup?
That's a qood question. I suspect they may be hiding that information, but it's pretty easy to tell if you've ever seen 60fps video (if you've ever watched sports on cable TV, you have).
The only channel I know for certain is 60fps is CNN.
Go there on tv.xfinity and look at how fluid and natural the picture/people look and move, then go to ESPN or NBC/ABC/CBS, and you can tell how much slower the frames are moving (30fps).
Generally, sports and network TV are 60fps, and films are 24fps.

Re: On Demand Purchasing Now Available on Xfinity Stream Web Portal
CAN YOU SAY NETFLIX
Re: On Demand Purchasing Now Available on Xfinity Stream Web Portal
CAN YOU SAY NETFLIX YES YES YES
Why is a channel suddenly unavailable online.
i have the cheapest cable package that comes with online and while i rarely use it the one channel i do watch is intermittently available. the channel is tbs and for the first few months it was available to me then it stopped being available then it came back then it stopped. while i couldnt watch the channel i could still watch american dad on demand until about a week ago i was watching the newest season of american dad. i watched the entire season 3 times over about 3 days and now it says that "this channel is not included with my package". Why does it keep going in and out ? i understand if i dont get this channel but why is it intermittent.

Re: Recorded Shows Often Cut Short, But Only When Streaming
I am also having the same issue in NJ. It's been going on for weeks. Only playing 20 minutes of a 2 HOUR SHOW!
I'm SUPER ANNOYED, and Comcast has not done anything to fix it.
Re: "Sorry, we've run into a problem."
No they don't. On the Android stream app I get similar errors when playing a live channell. "Subscription required: 12012"

The xf streaming app does not work on smart tvs, only compatible mobile devices
Re: FOX NEWS not working
If it makes you feel any better, my reception of MSNBC is very squirrley and both MSNBC and CNN are suddenly omitted from the Stream site and app. Yet I don't suspect a conspiracy.
Streaming is not working I get error (Error TVAPP-00206)
I was in middle of streaming and got Streaming Error - (Error TVAPP-00206)
Re: Streaming is not working I get error (Error TVAPP-00206)
