Sooo funny. No one at Comcast seems to know what is going on. The good news is I can see DVRs again. The bad news is that although I had un-installed/re-installed numerous times, my Xfinity remote crashed and would not reload. This time re-install pulled in the DVRs.

Bad news is that although I can see the programs, I can't delete them. Yes, I found where I should be deleting them, but although it confirms, they still stay there.

The other thing I noticed, half the channels are now no longer on the list. I can't get to lical channels or most my favorite channels.

Well may one of the Comcast elfs will reset my configuration file on the server again and I'll be able to make it work... such as it is.

internet tv listings

what is with the posting ofdaily show listingss? it's sat. and they still have the listings for wed up. no thurs, no friday. they used to post the last nights show list by 9 am. the next day. now it can be days before. now it can be days before the proper listings are posted. i'm so------ tired of it!

I am not tech savvy and I don't know how to stream.  Can I stream something to my TV or do I have to watch a computer. I only have a regular DVR. How do I start?

From the response from the Comcast rep above it seems they have no clue what they have actually removed and what many customers here are actually complaining about.... It's a shame they have no competition because if they did they would have no customers...

Howard, your wife could try using   http://www.zap2it.com  .  It works for me, and even tho there is no longer any ability to interact with the tv  , {for me}  I use it in conjunction with my DVR scheduling on my tv.

That is because they changed their security. When it was TV GO, i had no issues before this update... They basically want you to buy cable. Bs... Xfinity allows multiple devices streaming simultaneously, so I don't see an issue. Ever since they updated the app recently it has been an issue. There is a conflict of address or ip address causing this... The only other way to do this is to connect the pc monitor to the hd tv using an hdmi cable. Make sure to use a splitter though. My mother lives at home and only uses it on her ONE HDTV. I don't see why they are so concerned about this. They make a killing off of customers.. I should be allowed to watch something from a small screen to a large screen from whatever device of my choosing without restrictions.

Yea, you just recently changed the restrictions. Get over it... I don't think people are stealing cable like they used to. I have permission from a family member to use their account because i can't afford the ridiculous fees..

TNT Frozen online

TNT channel is frozen everytime I attempt view it online. Shows a picture but it's frozen. The other night it was Shaq frozen on NBA Tip-off and today it was Obi-wan frozen and it's been this way for a week.

This is not fixed and again comcast screwing its customers for a petty reason.  I am going to cancel the starz and encore and just subscribe directly. 

 

Saying to watch on a tablet is stupid.  Tablet vs 4K TV humm what would you want to watch it on.

My tv says when I try to go to 850 "you are subscibed to this channel, go to Xfininty.com to activate it"  I can find where and how I do that.

All over the Web, it is stated that xfiniry/comcast is working on a app for Roku. Why does this person say they are not. I call xfinity, and was told they hope to have the app by years end.

Before, I could watch a large variety of shows online when I was on the road.  Now i can't save a list of shows i like and most of them are not available online at all anymore.  Yet my bill gets more expensive.

Dear ComcastChad,

I have been experiencing continuous problems with my Xfinity TV app not showing my DVR cloud content at all across all my devices like computer tablet or smartphone. Actually when I log in it doesn't look like my account at all.
Also, if I'm home on my Xfinity Wi-Fi it tells me that I'm not home, so I can't view only tvgo channels and have every premium network and sports package. This has been going on for atleast a year. I've called 6+ times and had technicians come out for other issues and ask them about Xfinity TV and they have no clue either. I've had tier 2 technical support call and work on it with no resolve. Please help. Thanks

Call into Comcast at 1-800-266-2278 or 1-800-934-6489 and speak with a CSR about activating the channel.

Solved:

Only figured this out by accident...tap a download as if you are going to watch it (based on the old app's pathway), only now you are tapping the download for options.

click "Return" and it "Returns" your download to the undownloaded content in data base, a.k.a. deletes it from your device.

after "Returning" it replaces "Return" option with "download" option.

 

Lame if you're used to the old app where all you did was tap and hold until highlighted then click the trash can icon which was so easy a caveman could do it.
