Called support and they said that this is a known issue but had no time when it might be resolved. Anyone else have this problem? Any potential solutions?

did you try edge and chrome browser (have to enable flash always for the xfinity stream site)? does an apple or android device work properly?

It may be a minor cost to you.
But each box $6 bucks per month ( inverter box) for more than one tv adds up X1 box much more per month if you don't own your own cable modem they charge you rental fee for that as well.
I dont believe in wasted money to give comcast when my bill is high enough.
If there is a free way to save money of doing things that comcast offers the question should be "why not take advantage of their free app and streaming service"... If your not aware Comcast just (1/1/2019) did a 3.3% increase for both broadcast fee and sports regional fee.<Edited for violating forum guidelines>

However Comcast advertises that they have a low income service program for individual customers that cannot afford cable TV or Internet. But when inquired about such programs there excuse "not in your area"... especially when the known area happens to be low property living in HUD homes... Go figure...

The site that I post it is not illegal. The site gives the older Xfinity streaming apps. The newer Xfinity streaming apps tend to have a problem the older ones seem to work fine.

Right! I called not knowing this was some new policy and they jerked me around for over an hour trying to fix the 'issue' of why I was unable to get certain program on demand that I had watched previously. Middle of a season I started literally  seeing dollar signs pop up attached to the episodes' synopse! Do they not realize we can stream hulu live and create our own package of cable programing. Albeit you dont get 200 channells of complete garbage but I think I will survive.

Dont blame you there. I have found 3 movies in a weeks time that they are charging for and happen to be on Netflix for free! Yikes. Thats a tough call right there. What to do what to do?  Give away my hard earned cash to an undeserving corporation or watch Netflix. Hmmm....

FCS channels are still listed as part of the upgraded sports package.  This should be removed as it is now false advertising.

As stated in the title of this Thread, neither Chrome nor Edge works. Flash is enabled. No issues using Stream on my iPhone with the app or within Chrome. The problem is the using Stream with a browser on the new Surface Pro 6.

I was told by a Comcast employee that Apple TV COULD stream the Xfinity app and allow us to replace our cable box. What a waste of money! I guess I now double-down and have to buy a Roku and see if that works?? Sheesh!

Playback Error on Streaming website

I upgraded to the tv streaming service days ago.  Below is the error I get on ANY computer on ANY channel while attempting to live stream tv.  I've tried on all my phones and when I try on the android app the error says Playback error 106000  (error 43).

 

How can I get this fixed? I'm paying for a service that I cannot see, this is ridiculous.

I have been having an issue with the online streaming service for a while now whether it be from my phone, tablet or computer. I am not trying to come across aggressively, but people pay money for this kind of luxury and to not have access to it is very aggravating. I thought that this problem would eventually go away but it seems like nothing will occur unless I receive some assistance on your part.

Comcast Management,

 

I've been receiving the error Error TVAPP-00203 or similar for over six months which does not allow me to watch live TV at https://www.xfinity.com/stream/live. I have troubleshooted every possible way.

 

Comcast/Xfinity told me that this is an internal technical issue and they don't have an ETA on the fix.

 

This level of service is unacceptable.

Just started having the same problem.  I will cancel service if it takes more than 48 hours to resolve.  Seven weeks is completely unacceptable.  They should have already lost you as a customer.

first, the issue is caused by improperly closing browser viewing 'sessions'. there are a limited number of devices available on your account. When the browser is closed without first stopping the stream and ending the session (return to guide after hitting stop or ending a viewing session), the 'count' for an active browser is not removed and the total continues to grow to the maximum allowed per account.  To fix the problem all stream devices will have to be 'deprovisioned' (removed from Comcast's database as allowed 'devices' causing each one to need to be signed back in again. I have escalated your issue to the Comcast Team available to these forums. Check back often for a reply in this thread from a Comcast Official Employee.
