I am also in the same boat. I added HBO to my Comcast now that I have joined the 21st century and gotten a smart tv. However I was extremely disappointed to learn I cannot use the HBO Go app that is already installed. Needless to say my contract will expire soon and Comcast will lose my business as well unless this gets fixed.
