I have two machines, each using Windows 7, each watching videos on chrome. I first noticed this problem watching Falling Skies, Season 4, every single episode, but here is the link to the latest:
The problem is that every time a comercial runs, any and all commercials, essentially every single time commercials play, after the commercial break is over, instead of continuing with the show from where i stopped, it starts at the end of the last commercial break.
So lets say i watch from 0-5 minutes, then there is a series of commericals. When it returns to the show it starts at the beginning. So I move it to the 5 minute mark and continue watching. Watch from 5minute mark to say 10 minute mark, commercials. Commercials finish, show goes back to 5 minute mark instead of 10 minute mark. Crazy annoying and persistently consistent. All episodes of Falling Skies, even happened in season three.
Now I am watching Last Ship Season 1 SOS, guess what, different computer, different show, different commercials, same problem. Watching it right now and a whole ne problem. A series of commercials just randomly started in the middle of the show where there is no commercial marker.

Last commercial was Chevy Born Free, the first one to pop up in the middle of where no commercial is marked was KMart.
Oh look, she is back, annoying Kmart Lady, KMart Lady again, Gold Peak Tea Commercial, Direct TV, Wheat Thins, The ever awesome Shft Disorder Commercial, wait for it, wait for it, oh there it is, Chevy Born Free. Phew this should be the last of 8 commercials. Oh nope, TNT commercial. OK back to the show. Wow, it started in the right place. I am not going to sit and track every commercial break. Watch Falling Skies, happens every episode i watch.
