Thank you for your kind words! Pressing the escape key at the start of the endless commercial loop has worked for me. As a programmer, I often display a screen to a user and then wait for them to do something, anything. Until they do, the screen just sits there. Based on that theory, I do "something" at the start of the commercial loop. It may be considered a "workaround" , and it is, but better than anything that Comcast has offered the last two years. If this "workaround" works for only 10% of the users, then at least 10% of us get to view something other than commercials. Comcast, your gracious acknowledgement of my "workaround" solution as well as your continued promises to do "something" is somehow not surprising. So how about the other 90% of you? Any other "workarounds" that you want to share while we wait for the promised solution?
