Unless there is a mass exodus of Roku users from Comcast, Comcast will continue ignoring our pleas.. I can almost guarantee you that Apple and Microsoft have paid Comcast much like Netflix recently has to ensure delivery of additional features to their products. They will continue to play coy in the public spotlight because that is what they do, and the reps genuinely don't know what's going on with this as it's predominately a manager and C-level issue.
"Evaluating" is simply another way of saying "waiting for our money". Comcast is a terrible company, but we're forced to support them when it's either the only or only reasonable option in the area. I hope for TWC customers' sake that the merger falls apart.
I can't wait to get HBO Go on my Roku, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Roku isn't a big company like Apple or Microsoft, so while they may play ball they can't afford to play with the big boys. Samsung has no excuse in this matter.
