For several days now, I can't load the channel line-up. I just get this message everytime I try:

Sorry, we're having some trouble

XFINITY Stream is not available at the moment. Please try back soon.

did you try using the xfinity stream TV app and if so, did the app work?

hi, i signed up for the instant yesterday morning, and when i try to get it running on my roku

last night i got the get channelmap.400 error as well.  spent quite a while on the phone with a tech who was very nice, but we couldn’t fix it.  so i had to go online and cancel.  seems like there is something wrong with the xfinity software and they weren’t ready to start marketing it?

i can’t use the instant app, because my roku gives the getchannelmap.400 error.  i had to cancel the service the same day i tried to buy it.  spent time on the phone with a tech and tried everything.  perhaps one of the experts can weigh in, this seems to be quite a common problem for everyone.

do you live alone? do you access recordings on more than one device? have you given your username/password to someone else to use?

Hi, I'm getting the following error which means I can't watch TV on my PC or Laptop:
Something's not right here   We are having trouble adding this device to your account. Please call 1-800-XFINITY and mention error 11700. (Error ftde.provision.11700)
I called but they were unable to solve the problem. CAN YOU HELP???  Let me know what info you need from me. Thanks.

your account has a low number of devices that can access your streaming service. If you are giving out the username/pass and letting others use your subscription then that is limiting you from using your own service. Otherwise, if you are just closing a browser window and not stopping the viewing of a program and returning to the listings then it is probable that each time you are "locking up" one of the slots even though you are using the same computer/browser later. If you believe it is someone using your username/password without your permission please change your stream app username's password and reply to this post asking to have all the devices deprovisioned. that means each device will have to log in again using the new password.

is it working today? if not can you describe what happens? error message?

Sunday 3-18 No it isn't working today.

Xfinity streaming  from the xfinity website to PC Windows 10

  1. :Live TV: works fine.
  2. "Browse Movies" works fine,
  3. older programs posted before this Saturday's content--3-17--  (ie  Friday, 3-16 Thursday, 3-15 and before),  play fine.
  4. The problematic "Browse TV" programs are Saturday's programs 3-17.

When I attempt to stream "Browse TV" on demand , after a few seconds, the content  jumps ahead wildly several seconds at a time, plays a few seconds then freezes..  If I refresh and try again, it may play for a few seconds and then repeat either freezing or jumping ahead the freezing.  I have tried all my browsers...Google (usually used) Firefox Edge IE...all the same.  I have tried all different programs, from different channels.  I have deleted all  cookies and restarted my computer.  Nothing affects this problem.

I have attached a snip of one of the programs that I have tried multiple times without sucess so that you can check if desired. When I try to stream this exact program on my ipad, I get this error code: Playback Issue 101000.106000 An iOS system error has occurred. Most likely something is wrong with this stream. Try a different program."  I tried a USA program with the same error code.

When I stream the program from the actual ie TLC, the program plays appropriately. It is only when I try to stream via the xfinity app that the problem occurs.

If I am reading between the lines in comments, there was an upgrade to the website. When this has happened before, there are always problems that are eventually resolved by Comcast after some time...even days.

Here is a video I recorded and posted to youtube to share to demo what is happening...I have the curser showing so that you can see what I tried to get it to work.....https://youtu.be/SG69XS6Mjfg

are you able to use the Xfinity stream TV app to view FX ?  I just verified that the FX app and [Adult Swim] app work using my Xfinity subscription.

I have been having an issue with trying to watch a previousely aired program: "the Magicians", Season 2, Episode 10. It constantly skips ahead. I'm watching it on Chrome, Windows 7 64-bit. It just seems to be that episode, since I watched other episodes and other programs, and none had that issue. I think that specific episode may be messed up.

Re: Starz App STILL Unavailable

Stand alone STARZ app is blessed coed to Xfinity customers paying for premium service on home cable tv!! Comcast/Xfinity blocks STARZ subscribers from using free STARZ stand alone app unless you pay an extra 8.99 subscription to STARZ. Why would I do that if I’m already paying Comcast. Furthermore Comcast blocks you from using the streaming app on a tv at a remote location e.g. the hotel where I spend 75% of my time away from home because I am deployed. Mirroring is not allowed! Also using WiFi produces the 3305 error so you are forced to use your data plan. Unfortunately in my Florida home I can use Comcast or Satellite which goes out in a storm. So far Comcast seems vice stinks. Wish I had Fios again like I did when I lived in NYC. <br>

I don't believe anyone is using my account. BUT, for several weeks everytime I opened Xfinity it asked me to name my "new" device, even tho there were no changes made on my end.

Regardless, I need devices deprovisioned. Hopefully that will correct the problem.

I wonder how DISH manages to do it? At least it worked on my phone and tablet, all channels available. It’s great for those of us that travel all week for work. Anyway, thanks.
