I am trying to watch streaming tv.  It worked great for months now it does not and I get this error.     Sorry, we’ve experienced some difficulty playing FOX NEWS.

Please refresh this page in your browser to continue where you left off.

(Error 900|3313.1000055)

Any suggestions?  I already did a live chat with customer support and they were notmuch help.

Thanks

Live Streaming TV frequent interruption and cutting out

$

Over many months, I have tried to tolerate watching Comcast's Live Streaming TV with my now almost 60Mbps Comcast Internet connection (Wired, NOT Wireless). I get regularly frustrated!

Live Streaming TV with XFINITY from Comcast (http://xfinity.comcast.net/watch-live-tv/)

I try to watch MSNBC and get frequent interruptions and video/sound just stopping (static picture and sound stops).

Refresh (F5) can often reestablish the stream, but sometimes I have to close the page and start again.

Naturally, this most often happens right when I'm paying particular attention to something "important" being said.

Using Microsoft IE or Mozilla FireFox makes no apparent difference.

How can Comcast's technical abilities be so inadequate to this task of streaming their Cable feed for so many months?????

My end of the technical details:

(no way to upload my [Xfinity Speed Test C.png] or [Comcast computer info.png])

Frustrated!

This has been a problem on and off for some people for a year or more with no real comment by any of the official Comcast people. Usually it will stop on it's own and until then the best workaround is to go directly to the networks own site for the show you're trying to watch.

If it continues for any length of time you can try and send a private message to one of the Comcast people and ask their advice for trying to fix this problem.

Ugh. Replying to my own post.

I figured it out - you must push on the highlighted button FIRST (turning it off) in order to highlight a different button!

Adobe Flash when trying to view shows

I usually watch programs in HBO or STARZ on the computer.  About a week ago I started getting a message that I need Flash 11.8 or higher.  I already have version 14.  I deleted it and downloaded it again to no avail.  Whatever I do, it still says I need Flash 11.8 or higher.  I know Flash version 14 is there but somehow comcast is NOT connecting to it so I can watch programs like I used to do.  HELP!

kpenny,

You can try following my links in the previous post below. Alternately, to find PBS content to record you can visit our TV Go Web page here:

http://xfinitytv.comcast.net/

Use the Search bar at the top right, and type in PBS. You will be presented with all content available on the web, TV, and mobile along with upcoming listings. Click on the "TV Listings" option next to each show you see. That will take you to the show's web page within our site and if you choose "Available on TV" you will get a Record option to set the recording right from your computer. Alternately, this will work on our TV Remote apps for iOS and Android in the same fashion and a few less button clicks.

Let me know if you need any more info. We have a new TV Go release scheduled for tomorrow that should resolve this issue but I'm waiting to confirm this fix made it into the release.

Thanks for the patience...

Matt

Xfinity Unable To Read

I am currently watching (through my set box) HBO2 in HD.  You see, it definitely *is* part of my programming package but Xfinity just informed me I can't watch an episode of Boardwalk Empire on my laptop because "HBO is not part of your package!"

Now just exactly what am I supposed to do about this.  All the hoopla about being able to stream programming is just a gross misrepresentation of the facts?  Hello?

Comcast, since this is popular show why not have all the seasons readily available to those who are comcast/xfinity customers. I have only watched seasons 1-3 where is the 4th season? I want to watch and get caught up!

Help!!

Did you try hbogo.com ? If you have HBO in your package you should be able to go there and sign in with your comcast login and stream from HBO GO.

What web browser are you using? If you're using IE, then I would suggest FireFox or Chrome since usually people who have problems in IE have better luck with another browser.

Re: ROKU, HBO GO vs ROKU, ESPN

I think it's similar to the "Pay us money or our customers suffer" junk Comcast pulled on Netflix. Roku is a smaller company and can't afford to bribe Comcast for HBO Go support, not yet at least. Microsoft, Apple and Google all paid up, and so Comcast supports HBO Go on those platforms, but they're huge companies and that's for numerous platforms. It also seems that neither Sony nor Samsung have paid up.
